Abstract
The moral crisis occurring in society today, such as the increase in deviant behavior, a lack of manners, and the erosion of values of honesty and responsibility among the youth, highlights the importance of systematic and directed efforts in moral education. Therefore, in elementary schools, strategies for guidance are needed that can serve as a foundation to prevent falling into negative behaviors. This research focuses on guidance strategies for students, aiming to describe moral development and the results of implementing guidance strategies at SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Ponorogo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type by directly observing conditions in the field. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results of this study indicate that the strategy used by SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Ponorogo is: 1) The strategy with BTQ, where before starting the teaching and learning activities, students are accustomed to praying first and also reading the Quran together. 2) A development strategy with the IPM Kids organization, which allows students to take on more responsibility, in addition to becoming accustomed to performing religious activities on time and in an orderly manner. 3) A development strategy with school cultures; with the existence of school culture, students will be accustomed to respecting elders, becoming more polite, shaking hands with teachers, throwing trash in its place, and greeting teachers when passing by. The reason for implementing these strategies is to train students to be more disciplined with time when participating in religious activities, in addition to encouraging students to do good deeds while at school.Of course, it also equips students to always do good and not fall into negative things.
