Migrant students often face more complex psychological challenges compared to local students, particularly due to limited direct support from their families as a result of geographical distance. This condition raises the question of how far social support can influence the meaningfulness of life among migrant students. This study aims to examine the influence of social support on the meaning of life of migrant students who are members of the Sang Musafir Community at Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Instruments consisted of a social support scale and a meaning of life scale, distributed to 69 respondents. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation tests with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 27 for Windows. The findings indicate that social support has a positive and significant effect on the meaning of life of migrant students, with a contribution of 47.1%. This result confirms that the higher the social support received, the greater the sense of meaningfulness experienced by the students. The contribution of this study lies in strengthening social and humanistic psychology research regarding the role of social support in psychological well-being, as well as providing practical guidance for universities, academic advisors, and counseling institutions to design programs that help migrant students build a positive sense of meaning in life through supportive social environments.
