The primary objective of this study is to describe the implementation of Sirah Nabawiyah instruction in fostering the religious character of students. This study also aims to identify the religious values instilled through Sirah Nabawiyah instruction and to analyze the impact of such instruction on the character development of students in the Equivalency Education program at the Salafiyah Wustha Nashrus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School in Madiun City.

Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study was conducted at the PKPPS Wustha Nashrus Sunnah in Madiun City, with teachers and students as the research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation to obtain valid and reliable data.

The results show that the implementation of Sirah Nabawiyah learning was carried out systematically through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Teachers applied interactive lectures, discussions, value reflection, and the cultivation of Islamic behavior in the students’ daily lives. The religious values instilled included devotion to worship, akhlaqul karimah (noble character), honesty, discipline, and responsibility. The Sirah Nabawiyah curriculum serves not only to convey the history of the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, but also as a means of internalizing Islamic values through the Prophet’s example. The impact of this curriculum is evident in the students’ increased spiritual awareness, discipline in worship, respectful attitudes toward teachers and peers, and a growing sense of responsibility within the boarding school community.
