This study aims to examine the influence of internal supervision conducted by the Professional and Security Division (Propam) on the professionalism of members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). The continued occurrence of disciplinary violations and breaches of the professional code of ethics by individual police officers highlights the importance of internal supervision in maintaining the integrity of the institution. This study employs an empirical (sociological) legal research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected at the Ponorogo Police Resort (Polres Ponorogo) through interviews and direct observation of the implementation of supervisory functions and disciplinary enforcement. The results show that internal supervision by Propam has two strategic roles. It not only functions as an enforcer of sanctions or other repressive measures but also carries out preventive functions and continuous guidance. Consistent and objective supervision can help reduce the occurrence of abuse of authority, improve accountability, and foster a disciplined and professional work culture. Thus, effective internal supervision directly contributes to strengthening the integrity of Polri personnel and increasing public trust in the police institution.
