Nerina Nur'aini. NIM. 19112209. "Model of Increasing Discipline and Learning Achievement of Grade VIII Students Based on Outdoor PAI Learning (Case Study at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo)". Thesis. Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Advisors: (1) Dr. Nurul Iman, M.H.I. and (2) Dr. Wahyudi Setiawan, M.Pd.I. Keywords: Outdoor PAI Learning, Learning Discipline, Learning Achievement. This research is motivated by field facts at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo that the school is trying to increase students' enthusiasm for learning after the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is through a religious program that is used as habit for students at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo. From the results of observations that researchers did at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo through religious activities carried out outside the classroom, they were able to create a learning atmosphere that could attract students' attention and enthusiasm so that students were more motivated to study Islamic religious education. This study aims to: (1) find out the form of outdoor PAI learning for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo; (2) to describe a model for increasing discipline and learning achievement for class VIII students based on outdoor PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo; and (3) knowing the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the model of increasing discipline and learning achievement for class VIII students based on outdoor PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo. This research method uses a qualitative approach and this type of research is descriptive. Descriptive qualitative research is describing phenomena that occur according to facts and data obtained from the field which are arranged systematically using written and oral words. The techniques used to collect data are observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Then to check the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the research in this thesis can be described as follows: (1) The form of outdoor PAI learning activities for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo consists of three: (a) Routine activities including 5S habituation, playing murattal and asmaul husna, praying and muraja 'ah, obligatory prayers and sunnah prayers, Ramadan Islamic boarding schools, PHBI, lightning Islamic boarding schools, Ramadan studies, tarwih, halal bihalal, Eid al-Adha activities, worship control, social services, disaster fundraising, learning to recite the Koran for teachers and interfaith tolerance, (b) Extracurricular activities include Al-Qur'an learning (tahsin and tahfidz), tahfidz camps, tests for reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an, Al-Qur'an sima'an, tahfidz graduations, prosejahroh, pilgrimage rituals, and (c) Parenting activities namely socialization attended by parents and guardians of students; (2) The model for increasing discipline and learning achievement for class VIII students based on outdoor PAI learning applied at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo has been going well. Outdoor learning provides motivation because students can interact directly with the environment so that students are able to understand and master learning material well and achieve predetermined goals and ideals, besides that outdoor learning requires teachers to be professional in providing guidance and direction to students, learning PAI outdoor runs smoothly in accordance with the learning objectives which are characterized by producing good output, namely in improving student discipline and achievement. Then outdoor PAI learning has an impact on students including: (a) discipline in dress, discipline in time and discipline in worship, (b) students' understanding of learning material, and (c) student skills which can be seen from their achievements, namely in memorizing the Al-Qur'an 'an, calligraphy, speech and tahsin; and (3) The supporting factors for the application of the model for increasing discipline and learning achievement for class VIII students are: (a) the support of competent human resources, and (b) very adequate facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors are: (a) there are still students who find it difficult to contribute to activities such as being lazy, bored and bored during implementation, and (b) parents who are not optimal in providing guidance to children while at home.
