Abstract

Siti Kusnul Kotimah,, 2025. Implementation of the Liaison Book in Improving the Religious Character of Group A1 Students at the Fullday Kindergarten PAS Baitul Qur’an Gontor. Thesis. The liaison book serves as a means of building effective communication and collaboration between teachers and parents. Through this book, teachers and parents can exchange information, provide guidance, make improvements, and work together to improve the quality of student learning outcomes. In practice, the liaison book is used to improve the religious character of group A1 students at Baitul Qur'an Gontor Full-Day Kindergarten.
The objectives of this study were to (1) describe the implementation of the liaison book in improving the religious character of group A1 students at Baitul Qur'an Gontor Full-Day Kindergarten. (2) describe the impact of using the liaison book in improving the religious character of group A1 students at Baitul Qur'an Gontor Full-Day Kindergarten. (3) describe the supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and teacher solutions in implementing the liaison book in improving the religious character of group A1 students at Baitul Qur'an Gontor Full-Day Kindergarten.
This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. After being collected, the data were analyzed in three stages: reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure data validity, triangulation techniques were used.
The results of the study showed that, (1) The steps for implementing the liaison book are as follows: 1) Teachers socialize the steps for using the liaison book to parents. 2) Teachers record and assess the results of student learning observations at school. 3) Teachers distribute liaison books to students before going home from school. 4) Students give liaison books to parents. 5) Parents view student learning outcomes at school. 6) Parents fill in/write the results of learning observations at home. 7) Students collect liaison books to teachers. 8) Teachers read student learning outcomes at home. (2) The impact of using the liaison book is an increase in the character and religious achievements of group A1 students at the Baitul Qur'an Gontor Fullday Kindergarten. (3) Factors that support and hinder the implementation of the liaison book include parental cooperation, student cooperation, and technology. To overcome these obstacles, the homeroom teacher's solution was to increase students' sense of responsibility for their personal belongings and continually remind parents of the importance of filling out the contact book for the successful development of students' religious character.
