Abstract

The title of this thesis is Analysis of the Instagram Account @madiunngemil in Promoting Local Cuisine in Madiun. This study aims to analyze how the Instagram account @madiunngemil promotes local cuisine in Madiun, which is beginning to develop. With the growth of social media, social media accounts such as Instagram have become an effective tool for promoting products, including local cuisine. The Instagram account @madiunngemil, as one of the accounts focused on cuisine in the city of Madiun, often collaborates with influencers to enhance the appeal of the region's signature dishes. Through content analysis and interviews with relevant parties, this study examines how the Instagram account @madiunngemil influences public perception of localcuisine, as well as its impact on increasing popularity and public interest in trying such cuisine. The results of the study indicate that collaborations with influencers through the Instagram account @madiunngemil play a significant role in increasing public awareness and engagement with local cuisine in the city of Madiun, which ultimately contributes to the growth of the local culinary tourism sector.
