This study aims to examine the form of digital da’wah carried out by Gus Iqdam through his YouTube channel “Gus Iqdam Official” and its impact on enhancing the religious participation of the community in Krebet Village, Ponorogo. The digital da’wah delivered by Gus Iqdam packaged in a relaxed style, filled with humor yet rich in meaning has proven effective in attracting the attention of various segments of society, particularly the younger generation.
This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders and congregants, as well as documentation. The findings indicate that the forms of digital da’wah conducted by Gus Iqdam include regular sermons broadcast live and recorded, the use of communicative and easily understood language, and themes that are highly relevant to everyday life. The da’wah not only serves as a medium for conveying religious knowledge but also fosters the formation of an active spiritual community.
The impact of this digital da’wah is evident in the increased participation of the community in religious activities in Krebet Village. The community especially youth and women have become more enthusiastic in attending religious gatherings, yasinan, and discussions, both in person and online. In conclusion, digital da’wah through the “Gus Iqdam Official” channel plays a significant role in revitalizing the community’s religious spirit and strengthening social bonds based on Islamic values.
