ABSTRACT
This research is based on the background of Fiqh learning which is still dominated by lecture methods so that students tend to be passive and lack understanding of the material in depth. In the body prayer material, students are not only required to understand the concept theoretically, but also be able to practice the procedures for its implementation and appreciate the values contained in it. Therefore, a learning approach is needed that is able to encourage active involvement of students and provide a meaningful learning experience. One of the approaches that can be used is Deep Learning which emphasizes mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. The focus of this research is (1). How to plan the Deep Learning approach in learning Fiqh for funeral prayer materials at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Jenangan Ponorogo, (2). How to implement the Deep Learning approach in learning Fiqh of funeral prayer materials at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Jenangan Ponorogo, and (3). How to evaluate the Deep Learning approach in learning Fiqh for funeral prayer materials at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Jenangan Ponorogo. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Deep Learning approach in learning Fiqh of funeral prayer materials at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Jenangan Ponorogo.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research subjects include the head of the madrasah, Fiqh teachers, and students of grade IX MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Jenangan Ponorogo. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The validity of the data is obtained through source triangulation and triangulation techniques.
The results of the study show that the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in learning Fiqh of funeral prayer materials is carried out through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and learning evaluation. In the planning stage, teachers prepare teaching modules, learning objectives, methods, media, and learning activities that are oriented towards active student involvement. At the implementation stage, learning applies the principles of Mindful Learning, Meaningful Learning, and Joyful Learning through discussion activities, funeral prayer practices, learning reflection, and association of materials with the real lives of students. At the evaluation stage, teachers assess cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects through tests, practical observations, and attitude assessments. The implementation of the Deep Learning approach is able to increase the active involvement of students, deepen the conceptual understanding of funeral prayer materials, and improve students' ability to practice worship appropriately and meaningfully.
