This study is important for examining disciplinary challenges in the era of the Merdeka Curriculum through the role of semi-military extracurricular environments. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between cadets’ perceptions of their involvement in extracurricular environments and their discipline at SMK PGRI 1 Ponorogo. A quantitative approach with an associative-correlational design was used. The population consisted of 72 students, all of whom were included in the sample using total sampling. Data were collected via a questionnaire; the instrument was validated and found to be reliable, and it met the classical assumptions of validity and reliability. The results showed that all respondents (100%) had a positive perception of their involvement in extracurricular activities. The majority of respondents 67 students (93.1%) were classified as disciplined, while 5 students (6.9%) were classified as undisciplined. The results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.898 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates that there is a positive and very strong relationship between students’ perceptions of their involvement in extracurricular activities and their level of discipline at SMK PGRI 1 Ponorogo. The more positive students’ perceptions of their involvement in extracurricular activities, the higher their level of discipline.
