Abstract

ABSTRAK MELI ISWATI: Analisis Kemandirian Belajar Matematika Siswa Di Masa Pandemi COVID-19. Skripsi. Ponorogo: Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kemandirian belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Kauman di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan ditiadakannya pembelajaran yang semula tatap muka diubah menjadi pembelajaran secara daring. Hal tersebut merupakan akibat dari adanya wabah virus COVID-19 terhadap dunia pendidikan. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang juga terkena dampak virus ini yaitu matematika. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara mandiri dirumah membuat siswa dituntuk untuk mampu mengatur sendiri kegiatan belajarnya serta terampil dalam mengolah materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 29.Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu (1) Angket, untuk memperoleh data terkait kemandirian belajar matematika siswa di masa pandemi COVID-19, Kemudian di analisis deskriptif. (2) Wawancara, untuk memperoleh informasi lebih yang berkaitan dengan kemandirian belajar matematika siswa, wawancara dilakukan dengan 7 orang siswa yang kelas VIII A dan guru matematika sebagai penguat jawaban siswa. (3) Dokumentasi, untuk memperoleh kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan kemandirian belajar matematika siswa.Teknik analisis data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik simpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 1 Kauman di masa Pandemi COVID-19 berada pada kategori tinggi di setiap indikator yaitu bertanggung jawab 79.96%, inisiatif 73.37%, percaya diri 70.26%, Ketidakbergantungan dengan orang lain 74.57%, dan mampu mengambil keputusan 83.05%. The purpose of this study is to describe the mathematics learning independence of grade VIII A students of SMP Negeri 1 Kauman during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This research was motivated by the of elimination of face-to-face learning which was changed to bold learning. This is the impact of the COVID-19 virus outbreak on the world of education. One of the subjects also affected by the virus is mathematics. Learning that is done independently at home makes student directed to organize their own learning activities and skillfully process the material provided by teacher. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of class VIII A students totaling 29. The data collection techniques used are (1) Questionnaire, to obtain data related to students' mathematics learning independence during the COVID-19 pandemic, then descriptive analysis. (2) Interviews, to obtain more information related to students' mathematics learning independence, interviews were conducted with 7 students in class VIII A teacher as reinforcement for student’ answers. (3) Documentation, to obtain activities related to students' mathematics learning independence. The data analysis technique of this research was cariied out by means of data reduction, data presentasion, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the mathematics learning independence of grade VIII A SMPN 1 Kauman students during the COVID-19 pandemic was in the high category in each indicator, namely responsibility 79.96%, initiative 73.37%, self-confidence 70.26%, independence from others 74.57%, and being able to make decisions 83.05%.
